What is boudoir photography?
Boudoir photography is an intimate photographic style that captures sensual, romantic, and sometimes suggestive images of subjects in private settings like a studio, bedroom, etc. The term originates from the French word “boudoir,” meaning a woman’s private room.
What is the momtomodel offering?
It’s an unforgettable experience that we wish all moms could experience . We hope by the name it is self-explanatory, but it’s taking next-door everyday mom and her mom bod and turning her into a steamy, vivacious pinup model. It’s a pick-me-up of the best kind. Our SPECIALITY is working with women – especially moms – who have body concerns. Many women message us saying they don’t like their tummy (shape, stretch marks, etc.), and our reply is always, “That’s fine, we don’t shoot stomachs”. Women fall in love with themselves when they see their photos. Don’t believe us? Read through the hundreds of 5 star Yelp reviews – if women weren’t happy with us, they would certainly say it, but with a perfect 5 star rating and hundreds of reviews, we must be doing something right.
Do you only shoot moms?
We celebrate the beauty and diversity of ALL women through our lens. Our photography services cater to women of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life24. Whether you’re a professional, an artist, a student, or anyone in between, we’re here to capture your unique essence and empower you through our creative photography experience. Our mission is to help EVERY woman see her own beauty and reconnect with her authentic self, regardless of her role or stage in life.
Will my photos be posted anywhere?
Not if you want to keep them private. 80% of our clients wish to keep the photos private. The photos you see on our website or social media all have model releases. You can be as discreet or as public as you wish. Should you wish to keep your photos completely private, don’t sign the model release.
Is Hair and Makeup included?
Do you provide the outfits?
No, we don’t provide lingerie. After all, who wants to wear someone else’s? However, we do offer personalized consultations on outfit selection, including recommendations on what to buy and where to purchase.
I have no clue on what to to wear or what looks sexy. Can you help?
We kick off the process by having you send photos of yourself, this allows me to understand your body type better. Next, we’ll ask you to browse through your closet and send us photos of potential outfit options. If we feel that additional wardrobe items may enhance the shoot, we recommend checking out reputable online retailers such as www.shein.com or www.yandy.com. Locally, clients have found success in discovering casual cotton pieces like bodysuits, oversized tanks, and camis at Jeans Warehouse. For those seeking high-end options, Victoria’s Secret at Ala Moana is also available, albeit at a higher price point.

We provide professional hair and makeup services with a convenient downtown location. For our photoshoot settings, we utilize carefully selected rented homes that offer the perfect backdrop. Our Aina Haina location is particularly special, featuring a contemporary atmosphere complete with air conditioning, luxury amenities and ensuring complete privacy for our clients.
Can I have a friend come with me
Yes, but we don’t recommend it. We won’t say no, but we don’t recommend it because sometimes it’s harder for me to “crack” a woman. If hubby comes along, you’re used to being a certain way around him…it would be hard to crack that and get you to be an elevated version of yourself. I’ve done shoots where hubby has stepped outside, and the woman starts connecting. Other times the hubby being there hasn’t been an issue. Maybe come on your own first, and then bring him for a couple’s shoot! Ultimately, it’s up to you!

Should I get a spray tan?
If you’re a beach bunny and you have significant tan lines, we’ve found it helpful to get a spray tan. One of the places that come highly recommended from past clients is Pacific Spray Tan in Waikiki. They are mobile! We are not affiliated with this company, and are merely providing this information as a resource.
I have irregular menstrual cycles. Can I cancel without penalty if it starts on or before the shoot date?
Can I still shoot if I’m on my menstrual cycle?
Absolutely. We’ve done it many times. Past clients have given great feedback about the Diva Cup which may be available at Longs, Walgreens, etc. Other clients have simply used tampons and tucked in the string. If you want to feel your absolute best, and don’t want to shoot during your time of the month, please consider your cycle when booking your shoot – many women do not.
Is there a deposit I need to pay before the shoot?
Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required upfront to secure your date, and then the remaining payment would be the remainder (due the day of shoot). Outside of that, we recommend saving up until you are ready to make the deposit. Deposit amount is based on the total price.
What is your refund/cancellation policy?
We appreciate your understanding that we do not provide refunds. Your deposit serves as a commitment to reserve your spot, ensuring that we can accommodate your scheduled session without booking other clients on the same day. Cancelling means we miss out on potential opportunities, including the resources invested in preparing for your shoot, such as securing the venue. This policy allows us to maintain the quality and exclusivity of our services. Thank you for your cooperation!
Do you do payment plans?
Yes. 50% deposit is required upfront to secure your date, and then the second payment would be the remainder (due the day of shoot). Outside of that, we recommend saving up until you are ready to make the deposit.
I prefer a more natural look that I’m used to. Can I do my own makeup?
Yes, of course. Some clients prefer not to have us do makeup. We can adjust the price of the shoot to reflect no makeup or hair.
I want to do an explicit/erotic shoot. Do you do those? And what about couple shoots?
Absolutely no problem at all! Indeed, we specialize in erotic shoots for individuals as well as couples. If you have any particular questions about what’s on the menu—or what’s off it—don’t hesitate to reach out via chat or text. We’re here to ensure your experience is as satisfying as can be!
Do you travel?
Yes. Each year we travel. We are happy to come to you whether it’s our neighbor islands in Hawaii, or even international destinations. Prices vary depending on ticket prices and destination. Message us for more information.
Do you charge by number of poses? What about number of outfits?
No. You can have an unlimited number of poses. Three outfits usually works the best.
